I first learned of Ken Wilber this weekend. I have never heard of integral studies before, but I am currently intrigued. It is disappointing that one must pay to participate on the official site, which puts discussion there effectively beyond my means. My suspicion, additionally, is that the participants of such a site will consist mainly of those with the least to contribute, so this is an unfortunate impediment to the community's progress. I would like to thank the creator of this group for providing an alternative.
Although I have concerns regarding the current state of Ken Wilber's theories, Wilber has had satori, apparently several times. I believe, based on my two satori experiences, that he must have reached certain understandings and therefore deserves attention.
I am greatly interested in finding others who have had deep experiences of enlightenment, as I believe all such people must be. Are there more in the integral community?

Tue, December 19, 2006 - 10:01 PMHey Reikku,
I am sure there are plenty. I've had some "peak experiences" as Wilber often calls them. This is not bragging, just sharing that as information. If you're looking for a place to really get into Ken Wilber and the Integral Community, this is a great place. Feel free to message me sometime, I've read a good deal of his work and I'm sure we can have an informative conversation :D
